Heidi Spain is an Occupational Therapist with 35 years of clinical experience. She has specialized in neurological rehabilitation and has a special interest in visual system, oculomotor system and vestibular system dysfunction. She is a Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist, and Neurodevelopmental trained (NDT trained). She has also worked as a Driving Rehabilitation Specialist, presented at ADED conference, and was the President of the Association for Driver Educators of the Disabled in the years they were developing their certification requirements. She has worked for UCHealth, Memorial Hospital, celebrating 21 years in this system. She has been utilized in Program development on RPCU and is a Senior Specialist in outpatient rehabilitation. She is involved in the Community of Practice for Driving issues in Colorado. She has presented in services for UChealth south district on visual processing.
