Meet Dana- The NEURO SLP.
Dana is a Speech Language Pathologist with over 8 years of experience working with individuals with neurological disorders.She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology- Sociology from Birmingham Southern College in 2010. She then earned her Master’s degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders from the University of Georgia in 2013. Dana maintains a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed to practice speech language pathology in Virginia, Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee. She is an ASHA ACE Award recipient and belongs to the ASHA special interest group 2: neurogenic communication disorders.
Dana currently works at a Virginia traumatic brain injury clinic serving military men and women. When Dana isn't working as an SLP, she enjoys reading, traveling, yoga, and spending quality time with loved ones.
